Ben is a multi instrumentalist, singer/songwriter and producer. He started playing the cello at age
5, the piano at age 6 and has played in orchestras and other chamber groups and choirs all his
life. These include the Essex Youth Orchestra and the Leeds Symphony Orchestra. Ben achieved
grade 8 on the cello at 15 and his grade 8 on the piano and music theory at 18.
Ben’s degree in Music Production & Performance has given him further training and experience in
these areas across multiple genres. As such he has started an online music production business
to provide mixing and mastering services to raw recordings, giving them the polish of a finished
Ben is also a self taught guitarist who plays popular 50s’-00s covers with a looper pedal (a la KT
Tunstall and Ed Sheeran). This gives him creative licence to play around with the arrangements of
the songs to create a refreshing sound.
Ben also writes and produces his own songs inspired by artists such as Bryan Adams and Lady
Antebellum. He will new music out in the summer of 2020 however, his most recent EP “Songs
For Life” is available now on all major online music stores.
Ben is currently working on his level 4 teaching diploma through Rockschool.
