Casio launched the world’s first electronic keyboard back in 1980, offering creativity to millions of people. You might be very surprised to learn which (now) famous songs were either inspired by, or written on a Casio keyboard.
The new Casiotone keyboard range continues this tradition of innovation in both features and also design.
A touch-sensitive keyboard with 61-notes and piano-style block keys. For better performance as you progress there is a pitch-bend wheel which allows you to play more expressively and recreate the way various instruments actually create their sound.
The newly designed cabinet has a new LCD screen and an integrated carry handle/music stand slot which is both a beautiful piece of design but very practical.
The buttons have been kept to a minimum too offering a less cluttered design making it genuinely easy to use for anybody
Casio have though about the environment so you can run the instrument on batteries (you now get longer battery life as standard, plus you can use recgargeable batteries) or on a mains power supply (sold separately).
Fully compatible with Casio’s free Chordana App (connection is via a USB cable – not supplied). The new Chordana App turns your mobile device into a remote control for the keyboard as well as an interactive learning tool.
Dance Music Mode
This is such a great feature for literally anyone to start making music instantly.
You can create amazing dance tracks and remix them on the spot simply by pressing different key combinations. There are 50 modern dance music styles to choose from, including House, Hip-Hop and EDM plus some new vocal samples that can be played at any time.
Finally you get a new speaker design and EQ technology that delivers excellent sound from a small box. To finish the feature set there is an audio input connection. This lets you play your own song library through the keyboard speakers and play along at the same time.
