Jo Harman is now widely known as the best blues singer to emerge from Europe in decades. Luckily the Bishop’s Stortford area is about to get the see her up close and personal. She will be playing at the Rhodes Theatre on the 24th October, having support from our very own band coach Steve Young.
Once you have listened to her you will understand why she is getting so much praise. She has a sound that hasn’t been on the scene for a while now and she is bringing it back with pure brilliance. Jo was even voted Best Female Vocals at the 2014 British Blues Awards and gaining runner up in the Songwriter of the Year Award.

“On course to be the finest UK female blues soul voice” – Gavin Martin, Daily Mirror
Our band coach Steve Young isn’t just being the support on this one performance, he will also be joining her on 3 other dates.
“I’m very excited to be the Special Guest Support for such an acclaimed UK Singer on some of her UK tour dates. I hope some of my students and their parents take this opportunity to see their Band Coach doing his ‘thing’ at this amazing local venue”
