Drum Teacher Matt Chivers kept something very quiet

Drum Teacher Matt Chivers at DEROSA music kept something very quiet. He had been going to Meet and Jam nights where you “jam” with other musicians. What he didn’t tell us was that he was on his way to the 100 club.

This year the 100 Club was the host of what can be described as a final for all the “jammers” and original acts. There were 30 jamming acts in total. All acts had been scouted over a six month period Nationwide.  Drum Teacher Matt had to go on stage and drum away to a mixture of songs.

We didn’t know it was a competition and just thought Matt had an amazing opportunity to play at the 100 Club.

And of course the best drummer won, Matt Chivers.

We can’t explain how thrilled we are for him. This will further on his musical path working with other musicians.

Lessons with Matt start from just £12, you can find out about our drum lessons here.

Meet and Jam is great for muscians looking for people to join bands and grow within the music industry. For more information look here.
