Music Lessons at the De Rosa Academy are taking place as normal and or as online versions. You can choose either format to best suit your circumstances.
Virtual delivery of music lessons
We are continuing the optional delivery of our lessons online through the ZOOM app – you can learn more about the ZOOM app here.
Each of our teachers is working remotely at their own home studios so we can continue to provide your lessons at the same day and time as normal.
Please contact us on the usual shop telephone numbers if you need further information.
In-Person Lesson delivery of music lessons
As additional safety measures for students who choose face-to-face classes, we have some additional safety measures in place.
We have installed large, free standing protective glass screens between teacher and student. We also installed automatic hand sanitiser dispensors at all entry & exit points to each part of the building, introduced a 2 Metre social distancing gap between the student and teacher (3 metres in the case of vocal lessons), closed toilets & waiting room areas to students and parents, closed shop to academy access, introduced cleaning routines in all studios between pupils and created 3 independent zones within the site. Each zone (shop and the two academy sites) have a unique QR code to scan which links in to the newly launched NHS COVID-19 App. Please scan the QR code to register your presence on site every time you attend lessons to allow the NHS track & trace system to operate effectively.
Wearing face masks
We are currently asking people to wear face mask (adults and children) in line with current government guidelines. Clearly for instrumental lessons such as Sax, Flute & Clarinet lessons, plus Singing lessons masks remain optional. Please refer to official government guidelines at the time of our lesson for more details.
Our primary concern remains is the safety of everyone who is enrolled at the school and we are prepared to take whatever measures we deem necessary to protect the health of individuals, their families and the wider community.
We thank everyone for their ongoing support.
